Information for Parents
A great deal of effort, time and resources go into the development of a thriving classroom and the growth of engaged, interested learners. I hope that during the course of the school year a partnership will form between your home and our school that supports the students as they grow and learn.

Throughout the year there will be various opportunities to volunteer, whether it be for a field trip, an art project, or to support curriculum goals, Please sign up if you are available. Another way you can help the classroom is through donations. Throughout the school year if you have the opportunity to donate gift certificates or craft supplies to our classroom it will be appreciated. Lastly, I have curated a list of books and toys for the classroom on an Amazon Wishlist. I'd appreciate any support you can provide.

- read and sign your child's agenda daily
- ask your child about his or her day
- read all newsletters and school communication
- commit to a daily reading routine that allows your child the opportunity to read to an adult
- play games with your child (board games, card games, strategy games)
- look for opportunities to talk about Math during regular activities (I see 3 birds in the tree. How many will there be if 4 more join them?)
- read class emails
