We had another great Nature walk this week. It really is amazing how quickly the landscape changes in just one month. On this walk we continued to look for changes in the environment, apply observation skills, learn street names and discuss road safety. Additionally I started asking questions about things I noticed and had the students brainstorm possible answers. I tried not to provide the actual answer, rather I wanted to leave each question open to interpretation and promote scientific curiosity in the children. Please keep in mind that the weather outside is getting much colder and wetter. It is important you send your child to school prepared for such weather for both their regular recess breaks but also for our walks. Thanks for your cooperation with this!
