It was another busy month in our classroom. I can't quite believe October has already come and gone. We all enjoyed Black and Orange day. It's always fun to see so much student spirit on these special days. We also had a great time on our Nature Walk. The weather cooperated with a clear sky, despite the morning rain. The wind was an add bonus for us as we were able to talk about natural sounds versus artificial sounds. When we listened carefully we could hear the leaves rustling in the trees and the sway of the grass as the wind moved it. We could also hear birds and a rooster from a neighbour's yard. The kids are already pointing out changes they see in the natural environment. They noticed there are less leaves on the trees and many more on the ground!
